Be the first reliable resource for hydrologic operators to go to for answering questions, getting assistance, and training needs.

Objectives: Create an educational program for operators covering all facets of hydrologic warning. Offer opportunities to foster networking amongst hydrologic warning providers. Group is tasked with exploring the viability of certification programs.

NHWC Texas Hydrologic Best Practices Training Workshop

October 19-20, 2011 Fort Worth, TX

        

A two-day seminar/workshop sponsored by the National Hydrologic Warning Council and the Tarrant Regional Water District. Designed for:

  • Owners and operators of high hazard dams and levees
  • River authorities
  • Emergency managers
  • Floodplain managers
  • Flood control districts
  • Public works officials
  • Drainage and flood control engineers
  • Owners and operators of existing flood warning systems
