First Conference and Exposition
The first conference and exposition of the NHWC was held in Baltimore, Maryland (June 8-9, 1995).  The primary objective of this conference was to spark interest in forming a new regional users group for eastern states involved with ALERT and IFLOWS technology.  This effort was successful, resulting in the formation of the ALERT~FLOWS East Coast Users Group.
