November 11-12, 2013

Purpose

This annual workshop provides an opportunity to catch up with the latest developments in technology and O&M procedures with respect to hydrologic warning systems and various aspects of dam safety and operations. Attendees are exposed to a range of experience and expertise from both the program presenters and networking opportunities.

This year's workshop is being hosted by the San Jacinto River Authority, in their Boardroom (with a beautiful view overlooking Lake Conroe).  Details on entry (this is in a secured area) and parking will follow shortly before the workshop.

The agenda will include presentations on dam safety considerations, significant flood events, new & changing technologies, and tips/tricks for operation and maintenance of hydrologic monitoring / warning systems.

New! View the preliminary agenda here! Please note that the agenda is still being finalized, so continue to check back for updates!
