Our call for abstracts has been released. To submit an abstract, click on this link.

Abstracts (800-character limit) and biographies must be submitted by March 1, 2021 online at www.hydrologicwarning.org. Social distancing my be in effect at conference time. There will be a limited number of agenda slots available in each session.

Abstract submittals will be reviewed weekly and acceptance notices sent promptly. Submit early to help secure your speaking slot on the agenda. Early submission/acceptance will be given preference.

A concise (300-character limit) biography of all authors must be provided, including job title, employer, phone number, mail, and e-mail address of each author.

BOTH SHORT AND LONG-FORMAT PRESENTATIONS ARE BEING SOUGHT

  • Short presentations 30-minutes, including a Q&A period
  • Long presentations Up to 90-minute workshop style presentations may be requested – ideal for extended training, multi-speaker programs on a common theme, or panel style presentations

All presentations must focus on professional content and not include specific promotion of a product or company. Presentations should be delivered via USB drive at time of check-in at the registration desk.

Although preparation of a complete paper is encouraged, it is not a requirement for presenting at the conference. By submitting an abstract for a presentation or paper, authors agree to the distribution of the abstract and any subsequent presentation materials at the conference and to subsequent reproduction in conference proceedings, newsletters, and on the NHWC website.

We are also seeking assistance in planning the 2021 conference with appropriate protocols related to Covid-19, as well as to add activities to the week that would benefit our attendees. Even if you don't want to submit an abstract right now, please take this 2021 conference planning survey.
